It's Megan (mamabean) again!

I just spoke with Julie, who sounds and says she is feeling very refreshed. She did allow the doctor to break her water around noonish, and then had her epidural around 1 pm. Now it's almost 4 p, and the contractions are 2 to 3 minutes apart.

She expects the doctor to check her again after office hours.

It took three tries to break her water and she said it didn't bother her much at all. The contractions she had between her water being broken and the epidural were manageable but she is HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY she has had that now!

James is still with Julie. Julie's mom is on the way to Pensacola from North Carolina, Nathan is with James's sister and kids and will be back this weekend. Sounds like they have had some visitors off and on but I think things are winding down now and they are getting some rest. Julie says she's thinking and wondering a lot about what pushing will be like...

Julie will try to update me again before starting to push, if she has time... She is already looking forward to a day of rest in the hospital tomorrow with her new little baby.
